Federal Filing

Today, The Commons Foundation filed its Form 1023 with the Internal Revenue Service, seeking federal tax exemption status.

This process can take several months and once the application is approved, tax exempt status will be applied retroactively to February 8th. TCF will provide an update upon receipt.
