Amy and her husband moved to Little Compton in 2018. Since, they’ve added three children to their family. They are proud Wilbur McMahon parents, Go Eagles! Amy also serves on the board for the Little Compton Wellness Center and the Little Compton Food Bank. She is a member of the Hazard Mitigation Committee and Community Needs Assessment Workgroup. She works full time in Little Compton as the Director of the Little Compton Community Center.
Amy has worked in the nonprofit industry for fourteen years, thirteen of which were spent in the homeless and housing sector. Amy managed the state's largest homeless shelter and most recently coordinated the state's homeless housing and shelter systems for the Rhode Island Coalition to End Homelessness. Amy began working full time for the Little Compton Community Center in late 2022.
Amy graduated from Rhode Island College with her Bachelors in Social Work (‘12) and her Masters in Social Work (‘15).
